The thing about these fusion restaurants is that whenever they start to gain some bit of popularity, they started localizing themselves. The ingredients for some of the western or fusion dishes is replaced with the similar kind in Malaysia and by doing so, really deteriorate the quality of the dish itself. Even when not looking at sophisticated dishes, simple things like the mash potatoes can be quite a mess for them as well. The problem at this and some of the many other fusion restaurants is that they try so hard to manage so many dishes, both western and asian. In order to offer the extension of varieties on their menu, they need to have all ingredients ready in case there is a order at the kitchen. But what happens when no one ordered what’s prepared, or when something is not the best seller at the restaurant. When it is not a common dish to order, the chances is high that the ingredients would have been kept for quite a while already. So the lesson I adapted from this is to go for the common dishes many people would order. That way, at least the food is still in good form of taste and shape. The mushroom soup tasted really ordinary and almost like they are serving what was cooked two days ago. The meal was so bad, I vow not to return to this outlet.

Hutted within many plumeria plants, sunlight travelling through the gaps of leaves and beautiful frangipani flowers tenderly lights this place till evening right before dusk.
The hot stuffs include very few ingredients crafting into several breakfast dishes. The Hearty Breakfast sells at RM 17.90 and comprises of chicken sausages, hash brown, scrambled eggs with mushrooms, tomatoes and baked beans served with homemade toast.
The House Egg Ben comes with a choice of double or single serving both priced at RM 17.90 and RM 12.90 respectively. The poached eggs are ordinary but when topping with their signature Hollandaise sauce, tasted better on top of the sautéed potato cubes and fresh salad served by side. The pull factor is the thick toast which is admirable although I would prefer smoked salmon over the slice of ham between the egg and toast.
The fluffy Omelette filed with feta cheese and sautéed mushrooms, served wit homemade toast and fresh salads sells at RM 11.90 and is fantastic especially when fresh mushrooms instead of canned are used. Thumbs up for that.

The chilla cup is never a preffered coffee house for me, but depending on what is the next best choice we will sometimes land ourselves at the chilla cup given they serve such generous amount of tea of coffee. With a range that is moderately sufficient to making choice including hot chocolate, Americano, mocha, latte, and quite some range of tea etc, this becomes quite a good place to hang, to lounge and to savour good desserts sufficient enough to satisfy the sweet tooth. The Pina colada Bavarian Cake sells at RM 8.90 and as uninteresting as it looks, it was relatively good in flavour and taste. For short tea breaks, I think the Muffin Blueberry is great to go with a bup of Americano. Selling at RM 6.90 each, the sweetness of the generous and thick bluberry jam within the muffin is perfect to go with Americano. The ommelete serves as good breakfast and note that the ommelete is served with hash brown and salad as sidelines. Although the salad serving is really tiny, there is always the ala carte salad to order. the chicken Cajun salad comes with crispy grilled chicken strips served on a bed of fresh garden salad comprising of assorted salad leaves which also serves as garnishes to the bowl.

The japanese sushi uses very standard ingredient. The standard few which make it hard to reach the audience in any breath taking way to blow their dinners mind with any new creation. Yet, with these very few exquisite ingredients, sakae sushi manage to somewhat come up with something every now and then. Of course some maybe a flop while others would shine, but it is all subjected to every individual when it comes to taste and palate. After all, flavours and palate can be very subjective and difficult to be generalised. Fresh ingredients are the key to successful sushi especially when sashimi is part of the sushi rice. Having improved so much since all this while, I must give credit to the effort of the restaurant when it comes to developing new mix of ingredients for their new menu from time to time. Like I have mentioned before, the sakae sushi is one sushi chain that constantly come up with fusion creativity that is often mesmerising on top of their regular menu for both the ala carte japanese dishes as well as the assorted sushi. The makis, and hand rolls are my favourite and I like visiting those outlet with high traffic of customers. That way, the ingredients are always fresh.

The seating and the interior of this place is very comfortable and suitable for casual meals amongst family and friends. The surrounding at this place is relatively decent and clean. Somewhat clean and comfortably pleasant, this is a good place to dine. Mille Crêpe is a French cake made of many crêpe layers. The word mille means "a thousand" and crêpe is a type of very thin pancake originated from France. Hence, making it popularly known as the ‘thousand layer’ cake from France. The mille crepe layer cake is made famous by the nadeje cake house in melaka, but later was sold in many other bakeries as well. The vanilla cake sells cakes but their forte is the mille crepe layer slices. The choices of flavours vary on daily basis but if there is any desired flavour to be ordered prior, they would be able to prepare them and for any occasion, would be able to accustomed to the needs of customers as well. The layers were not as good as those in the Nadeje but was definitely better than a lot of the mille crepe layer cakes out there.
