Few branches available and I go to the nearest, Kepong Branch. Located at Taman Usahawan, Kepong, nearby AEON BIG (Carrefour), Brilliant Nasi Lemak is same row with Murni and Hong Kong Bank. Here serve good nasi lemak. Not the cheap one but still consider affordable. So without any discount coupon purchase, its still very crowded.

I opt for the signature dish, Brilliant's Nasi Lemak which comes with one deep fried drumstick, sambal prawn and squid. The sets also include a big bowl of Brilliant's dessert which is very cooling. The portion is very big. The sambal very nice. Aromatic, flavourful and spicy. Love it. Anywhere I feel the coconut rice is less impressive. Less of the fragrant which "9 street away also can smell it".

For Nasi Lemak lover, Brilliant now just open another 3 new branches at Kota Damansara, Damansara Uptown and Kuchai Lama.

Lai Thai Market is another hidden gems at the famous Happy Mansion SS17, PJ. Lai Thai is operated by Thai people and able to attract a lot of eatery with their very traditional Thai fares. Even though the shop is small, it is cleaner and cozy then expected.

The weather is so hot lately but I still decided to give it a try, So I patrolling Lai Thai in one sunny Saturday and YESS its really bring back the memory of my Bangkok trip. Hot food under Hot weather HAHA. I order the Spicy wide rice noodle (kuay teow). The small bowl filled with fresh herbs and bean sprouts, pork balls, pork liver, kangkung and chopped spring onions. I even spices it up with the famous Thai Chili Flakes...delicious.

We also order the Som Tum (Thai Raw Papaya Salad) for sharing. It was prepared on the spot with fresh ingredients. Spicier than the usual version till burning my stomach >..<" he Mango sticky rice is pre-packed. The Mango is too sweet to eat alone but go very well with the tasteless sticky rice. This version of Mango Sticky Rice comes together with one Yellowish flakes which I not so sure what is it. Anywhere the flakes bring out another taste of this Thai famous sweeties, so delicious!

Here also got mini market section which you can get the Thai grocery.

Molten Lava @ 1 Utama serve sweeties dessert. One of the signature Churros, is a Spanish famous snack. Churros is delicious strip of fried dough and coated with icing sugar and chocolate. The crunchy chorrus also have a great combination of sweet sugar and bitter chocolate. Love it.

While the Funnel Cake with Ice Cream & Bananas are made by pouring batter into hot cooking oil in a circular pattern and deep frying the overlapping mass until golden-brown. Topped with the sweet banana and caramel, vanila ice-cream and whipped cream. The hot cake go well with the cooling topping. The banana is slightly sweet while the whipped cream is so soft. Anywhere to my dismay is the vanilla ice cream melting fast.

The indoors dining environment is comfort and WiFi also available

Rakuzen is one of the fine dining Japanese Restaurant in Malaysia. Almost all of the outlet is always crowded no matter what time >..<. Anywhere it is worth waiting. This time I would like to highlight more on the dessert rather then the main course.

After having our main course, we opt for some cooling dessert time. Lets start with the special Strawberry Ice. The strawberry is cored, frozen and filled with Vanilla Ice-cream. The freezing strawberry served with whipped cream have a good combination of Sweet and sour tastes.

Next is the best Chocolate Wafer Ice-cream. Personally like this more. The delicious ice cream and the thick chocolate is sandwich with the crispy wafer.

More interesting permanent or seasoning dessert available. So don't MISS it out!

Coconut Tree Dessert located at Jalan Development Kepong. It is slightly opposite Leong Kee Bah Kut Teh and somewhere around Caltex Petrol Station.

Coconut Tree Dessert serve Traditional Chinese dessert, Nasi Lemak, Economy Noodle, Steamed Yam Cake, Onion Pan Cake, Egg Roll and so so. Most of it is still prepare using traditional recipe and no any modernization can see here. In this case, it is delicious as I always feel school time food must prepared using grandmother recipe.

The open air corner shop is clean and not so hot. So if you hunger for some traditional Chinese dessert, this is the best place with affordable price.
