"Kim Lian Kee has long existed since 1920s in Chinatown, Petaling Street, KL. Their famous charcoal-fried noodles can now be tasted in selected shopping centers. However, the taste is not the same, it's now mainly cooked by foreign workers.
Claypot Loh Shu Fun 瓦煲老鼠粉 - ingredients are loh shu fen, pork, prawn, pork lard, cabbage, black sauce and topped with a raw egg.
Same taste with different type of noodles."
Total spend: RM8.90 per person

Moonlight Kuey Teow 月光河 - ingredients are kuey teow, pork, prawn, squid, pork lard, cabbage, black sauce and topped with a raw egg. The noodles are extremely oily, too much of pork lard and lack of the wok fragrant."

"Kim Lian Kee is a well-known Hokkien Mee restaurant that has been established since 1927. They insists of using the charcoal old method to fry their famous dishes.
The Spicy Fried Rice 金香炒饭 (small for RM8.90), quite a big portion and can be shared by 2 people. I like this spicy fried rice, with the taste of "wok" fragrant aroma 有镬气, and surprisingly it is not oily."

"Kim Lian Kee is a well-known Hokkien Mee restaurant that has been established since 1927. They insists of using the charcoal old method to fry their famous dishes.
The Spicy Fried Loh Shu Fun 香辣老鼠粉, aromatically and deliciously fried and it has got the "wok" fragrant aroma, 有镬气.
Be cautious, there will be some chopped "cili padi"!
The service is quite fast even though there was a big crowd."

"Taste the Hokkien Mee >.< but the boric acid smell is too strong for me. As for the 月光河 (flat noodle) is good. "
