"Assam Laksa is one of Malaysia original food and it is famous around the world!!! Originate from Penang, we can easily find Assam Laksa around the country BUT it is not easy to find a good one in Klang Valley or close to the taste in Penang.

Today while I patrolling Ho Ho Sek @ SS2 for lunch as usual, I spot this aunty preparing a bowl of hearty Assam Laksa. Its smell delicious! And wait what? I immediately order a bowl.

When the aunty sent my assam laksa I see it is so presentable and colourful and the smell make me so hungry^^. I quickly snap a few photo and start to eat...So nice. The soup is flavourful and wont too spicy. I slurpp finish all the soup..YUMMY!!! Wondering my colleague sure think I am super hungry hehe"
Total spend: RM5.50 per person

"I walk past this restaurant while having myself a walk at the Chow Yang pasar malam at Thursday night. Then i realise there is a big restaurant here selling various type of food like a small food court.

I had myself dinner at here, craving for chinese cuisine. There was a stall here name Leong Kee selling steam soup and steam rice. So i ordered a ginseng herbal chicken soup with a bowl of rice. Since the rice is steamed to cook, hence it is more soft. The ginseng soup taste a little of bitter ,but it is a healthy soup! There was also chicken, fish and vegetables selling at the stalls.

By the way, I had myself a small glass of watermelon juice here and it cost me RM 5 per glass! To me it was a little too expensive compared to other hawker stall."

"The corner shoplot on SS2 Chow Yang has been a landmark for good hawker food. Previously, the famous prawn noodles, Lim Mee Yoke is operate here but now they move to another shop, same area but at the back row of shoplot. Now no more traditional and old time hawker kopitiam but is a modern and creative design restaurant named Ho Ho Sek.

Despite the modern outlook, they still remain same hawker stall but slightly expensive and small portion, maybe cause by the new makeover. Here sell good foods such as Fried Kuay Teow, Porridge, Poh Piah, Steam Rice, Bah Kut Teh and so on. Honestly, most of the food here is really good.

The air-conditioned restaurant is a good choice for lunch during this super hot weather. Still can see a lot of senior citizen come to here to lepak and enjou a cup of coffee and toast."

"This Yu Zhu Soup with Chicken is tempting and the smell is so alluring that can make you feel so hungry. The double boil soup is without steam rice so you need to paid extra RM1.20 for just the fragrant steam rice.

So for those who unable to go home to enjoy Mother's Double Boiled Soup, can come to this Leong Kee Homemade Steam Rice/Soup @ Restaurant Ho Ho Sek to try it out!"
