"Chicken rice ball here is so so even it is famous. Can have try at this restaurant but don't come with high expectation. In fact, its taste was in our expectation as we heard the comments from our friends before. The service here was poor. After the waiter direct us to a table, they just eave us there. No menu, no order. The waiter was standing there and ignore us. We have to go to counter and ask is there any menu and we should order at the counter or wait for the waiter. Of course, the good thing with here was the ambiance. I like the building."

melaka have few famous chicken rice ball stall. all price is not cheap now. first time dine in here famosa. service is really good. not crowded at all and place is so beautiful decorated with china interior design and we take tons of picture here.

the chicken rice ball is so yummy and good. the rice is soft and the chicken is tender and soft. the soy sauce together with the chicken makes it really taste good and the cha siew is melt in to the mouth. there are many side dish available. egg, and fresh vegetables

i really like the environment here. price is reasonable and some might think here a little pricey perhaps for the deco they have invest in.

"One of the famous delicacies in Malacca is 'chicken rice ball'. We decided to try it out during lunch at Restoran Famosa Chicken Rice Ball. We also had roasted chicken and otak-otak. The chicken was yummy! Smooth, tender flesh complimented with a crispy skin. Otak-otak is quite spicy and salty but goes well with the somewhat bland rice.

Honestly, the chicken rice ball isn't that good because it's compact and not fragrant =/ It's a ball of mushy rice without much flavour. Imagine soft overcooked rice that has been mashed and then rolled into a tight ball.

Like many other shops, the building has a very old and traditional look to it. It is however, clean and well maintained. Service here is good as well. They have enough staff to cater to the needs of the customers."
