KTZ Food 记得食 @ Jalan SS2/63, SS2

"Kei Tak Seng has long established themselves with the astounding array of desserts and light snacks. It is also brilliant of them to serve few dishes that is slightly filling and suitable to go as main courses. The snacks are always great, with choices that would fit in any crave of snacks. The Vietnam Spring Roll which sells at RM 4.80, is this weirdly layer of fu chuk with some chopped vegetables inside it, and presents itself as thin pancake lookalike piece which is served chopped and cut in smaller pieces.
Dip that in the special sauce which has a lot of resemblance to chicken rice chili sauce, to combine and trigger saliva gland with the tanginess in it.
Same goes with the Chicken Boxing which sells at RM 5.80 for three chicken drum that is crispy on the outside and super juicy on the inside. Each bite is very flavourful as the chicken was very nicely marinated. The chili sauce to go with this would be optional if I may say. The chicken is stunning on it’s own with no complement from any sauces."

"This is a place selling dessert, dim sum, snacks ,noodles and rice which suitable for lunch , dinner or tea time.
I had my first try at the branch here located at ss2. It is air-conditioned restaurant and the price is quite cheap no extra service charge cost.
I had the Century egg porridge as i was not too hungry. It has a strong fragrance and taste so delicious. The porridge was topped with crispy You Zha Koay which makes it taste nicer. Not too salty and oily hence its suitable for elders and children as well.

My friend ordered this Sze Chuan Dry noodles which is the soft noodles with thick gravy. The sauce of the noodles is a little sour which is quite appetizing,but i feel that they had put too much cooking wine and covered the original taste of the sauce.
Besides the main course, they are selling different types of desserts which is one of the attractions for young ones to visit here often at night."

"KTZ is famous for it's dessert and the first shop is located in Kepong. Initially, they are only selling desserts and snacks, then slowly they have enlarge their food variety to noodles and also ice shaved. This branch which located in SS2 is air-conditioned, the shop design is moderate, nothing special. There are plenty of parking lots nearby this restaurant, which only cost you RM0.60 per hour. I have ordered curry lai fun (which normally found in asam laksa) and i think this combination is superb. The curry soup is not so thick and not so spicy , which suit my taste. The ingredients they put include brinjal, lady finger, bean curd, and chicken. Nothing much to praise for the service here, moderate service provided by the waiters i guess and you need to pay at the counter. Overall, I am satisfy with my food there."
